PR: Northern Ontario Karting Championship round #4 Night Race this Saturday

With an exciting night race format on the docket for Round #4 of the 2012 Northern Ontario Karting Championship (NOKC), series competitors are gearing up for what is sure to be a fun night for all. A BBQ, corn roast and mechanics race will also be part of the festivities, and the NOKC invites all karters from any ASN affiliated club. The Saturday, July 28 race is also an Innisfil Kart Club event.

The entry fee for all classes is only $85, which includes practice all day. Practice is scheduled from 9am-3:30pm, with 4pm marking the start time for the two-stroke classes. Honda classes and the mechanics race is set for a 7pm start time for qualifying, with the prefinals and finals run under the lights. The entry fee for the mechanics race is also $85, with all entrants utilizing the rental karts to even the playing field. Anyone interested in running the mechanics race is asked to contact Tony or Rose Launi to secure your kart.

A BBQ and corn roast will get started in the early evening, which will be a perfect complement to the exciting night race action and fun atmosphere, and is sponsored by Globe Meat. Innisfil Indy is the generous sponsor of the event.

Following the night race event, the next round of the 2012 Northern Ontario Karting Championship is slated for September 15-16 at Innisfil Indy.
