Online Registration for Cold Stone US Open of Las Vegas to Close October 2

As excitement builds for the Cold Stone US Open finale in Las Vegas, Nevada October 28-31, 2015, MAXSpeed Entertainment announces today that online registration for the event will close October 2. Also this past week, track testing was completed and the layout will be made public this coming Monday.

“We have seen incredible numbers during the opening weeks of our online registration,” explains MAXSpeed’s Garett Potter. “Many of our championship contenders have registered, along with drivers new to the US Open. With over $100,000 in awards for race winners and series champions, wheel-to-wheel competition is sure to be fierce in Sin City. The series also has serious international interest, with drivers representing the United States, Venezuela, Surinam, Canada, Panama, Australia, Morocco, The Netherlands, South Africa and Mexico, among others. This is truly shaping up to be a ‘can’t miss’ event!”

Online registration will continue at MAXSpeedEntertainment.com now through 11:59pm EDT October 2, 2015. Registration will also be available trackside, however a $250 late fee will be assessed. US Open of Las Vegas event registration can be completed by clicking the direct link HERE. Importantly, all drivers who register must have a completed Pit Request Form, available to download HERE, on file to complete the registration process for the Las Vegas round.

With the event just around the corner, US Open Race Director Chris Egger and Potter completed track testing late last week in Las Vegas.

“We made some adjustments based on our original computer track design, and we think the racers will like the layout,” adds Potter. “Stay tuned for the track layout to be released on Monday, September 14.”

Additionally, the event supplementary regulations will also be posted next Monday. The event schedule has previously been released and is available for download HERE. Any teams or drivers interested in event catering are asked to contact The Gourmet Affair at gacatering06@gmail.com or +1 (352) 266-3272.

“Our first block of rooms at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino has completely sold out! We are working with the Rio now to secure additional rooms,” concludes Potter. “The US Open of Las Vegas is gearing up to be epic! Are you ready to #RaceTheRio?
