PR: BSRKC Race 2 at Innisfil Indy June 9 & 10

This weekend the BSRKC descends upon the Innisfil Indy track for Race 2 of its 2012 Championship Series.   Full details are available on the http://www.BSRKC.com website in the SCHEDULE section.   Open practice is available at the track all week.  Controlled practice takes place on Friday.  The cost is $50.00.  The classes competing on Saturday are Junior Medium, Senior Medium, Rotax Mini-Max, Rotax/TaG Junior, Rotax/TaG Senior, DD2, and ICC/Moto.   The classes competing on Sunday are Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Heavy, Senior Lite, Senior Heavy, and Masters.   The entry fee for each class is $85.00.

The event is sponsored by Canadian Tire-Fergus, Ontario, and the Charles & Kathy Campbell family.  Their generous support enables the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series to award its outstanding trophies and cash prizes, in the amounts of $175.00, $75.00 and $50.00, to the top 3 in all of the classes with 10+ entries.   An exciting $300.00 cash payout per class that, coupled with the affordable entry fee, has made it the most cost conscious regional go kart racing Series since 2006.

Rosie and Tony Launi, together with the Innisfil Kart Club, look forward to welcoming everyone to their track this weekend.  Rosie will be cooking up a storm preparing her delicious breakfasts and veal on a bun lunch specials.   Two meals that Rosie has singlehandedly  transformed into time honoured traditions that karters look forward to enjoying before they make their way home on Sunday nights.

The results for Race 1 are in the books.  Race 2 takes place this weekend.  Karters eyeing a BSRKC championship title will bear down to add to their points.  It remains to be seen if Jamie Riberdy, Cory Cacciavillani, David Miller, Jared Stewart, Zachary Shearer, Michael Glaze, Frank Launi, Austin Bisschop or Ciarra and Jake Collison can sustain their hard earned momentum.  Or, might this weekend’s results at Innisfil Indy see their names removed from the top spots?
