bsrkc-logo2014 Series Wraps Up With Decisive Double-Header at Shannonville Motorsport Park

The Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series brings it’s 2014 Series to a close with the double-header races this weekend at Shannonville Motorsport Park.

No less than 23 Canadian National Bears will be awarded to their rightful winners after the races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The schedule starts with Thursday’s controlled practice.

The Classes racing on Friday are: Cadet: Junior TaG, Senior TaG, Honda Junior Pro with a 6.5 engine at 290 lbs. together with the Briggs Junior at 305 lbs. with a Senior slide Carburetor, Junior Medium, and F125/ICC Moto. Also spicing up Friday’s race schedule is the addition of the OPEN 4 cycle Senior’s class. This class challenges all engine builders to race their driver(s) in the best engine(s) they’ve got. Bragging rights and a Bear are on the line.

The Classes racing on Saturday are: Novice, Junior Lite, Junior Heavy, Junior Briggs, Senior Briggs, Honda Senior Medium, Honda Masters and Briggs Masters.

The Classes racing on Sunday are: Novice*, Junior Lite*, Junior Heavy*, Junior Briggs, Senior Briggs, Honda Senior Medium*, Honda Masters*, and Briggs Masters. (Asterisks indicate Classes applicable towards the 2014 Simcoe Kart Club Championship points).

All official BSRKC classes with 10+ entries will receive cash prizes in the amount of $175.00 for 1st place, $75.00 for 2nd place, and $50.00 for 3rd place. All class winners will receive the Canadian National Bears, and 2nd and 3rd place receive trophies.

Convenient grandstand parking is available for just $100.00. These sheltered 10’ x 30’ spots are yours for the duration of the event on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The grandstand parking also puts you thisclose to the Grid, and to watching the action every day. All other parking and camping areas at Shannonville Motorsport Park are free. SMP also has showers and a restaurant on site offering a daily breakfast and lunch menu.

The Simcoe and the Waterloo Regional kart clubs invite all karters to come and race with them this weekend at Shannonville Motorsport Park. They look forward to presenting the 23 Canadian National Bears and the cold hard cash to all of the deserving winners.
