Teams Cup Announced for ASN Canadian Karting Championships Presented by Canadian Tire

Event organizers of the ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Karting Championships presented by Canadian Tire have created an exciting additional program to get everyone involved in this years event. Pride and bragging rights will be on the line, as teams will have another trophy to chase at this year’s Canadian Championships. The Canadian National Teams Cup will create a Nations Cup style program similar to the one Canada competes in each year at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, but instead of countries, it will be individual race teams.

Aside from the drivers acquiring points for each team, a rental race will also add to the excitement. Each team will nominate two drivers who are not competing at the Canadian Championships to represent them in two separate 5-lap rental kart races, utilizing the Jim Russell Karting Academy karts. These races are sure to be full of action and nobody will want to miss out. Reserve your spot on the fence now.

Each day, will have an official update on the Teams Cup to display the current points totals and front-runners.

The winning teams will be announced at the Final trophy presentation where they will be awarded trophies. A travelling trophy has also been created where the winning teams will have their names put on, a significant achievement to be remembered for many years to come.
