Charles Deschenes (SH Karting/Tonykart) kept his kart out of harms way to win the final in Rotax Mini-Max at Le Monaco de Trois Rivieres. Early favourites Gianfranco Mazzaferro (Ferrolati Corse/Zanardi) and Nicholas Cantin (SRA/ Birel) both had suffered set backs which would force them to retire from the final. Brazilian Junior Menor Champion Pedro Travares Cardoso (PSL Karting/ CRG) was able to fight his way forward from the back to finsh second place ahead of Samuel Lupien (SRA Karting/Birel), Thierry Cote (PSL Karting/CRG), and Christophe Rizk (SH Karting/Tonykart).
