Series officials have finally confirmed the dates and locations of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship, the sixth year of the series.
Lots of discussion has been put into what would replace the Le Monaco de Trois Rivieries event along with the arrangement of the events and it is finally official.
After a two year hiatus Goodwood Kartways in Stouffville, Ontario will host the opening round of the series on May 23 and 24. Goodwood played host to the series opener for the first three seasons of the ECKC.
Round two will shift to the province of Quebec and a return to the Point du Lac karting facility located just outside of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec on June 13 and 14. Point du Lac was on the schedule back in 2011 and will provide some excellent action when karters return to the facility after a couple years away.
As a primer for the 2015 ASN Canadian National Championships, Mosport Kartways at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park near Bowmanville, Ontario hosts round three on their newly configured track and facility on July 18 and 19, just under a month before the Canadian Championships are hosted there.
And the series will close out and crown their champions back in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec on September 19 and 20. Mont-Tremblant has hosted the series finale for the past four years and provides excellent action every time the series visits.
It has not been confirmed whether or not the Quebec rounds will be partnered with the Coupe du Quebec championship.
