Energy Kart Canada Drivers Support #KeepFightingAyrton at Canadian Karting Championships

All eyes from the Canadian karting world will be focused on Mont-Tremblant this week as Canada’s best kart racers invade the Jim Russell Karting Academy for the 2014 ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championships.

One of the teams competing this weekend, Energy Kart Canada, enters the event will an excellent lineup of team drivers all of whom will sport stickers to support Ayrton Climo, the kart racer who was seriously injured three weeks ago at an event in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. The stickers were graciously donated by The Decal Zone.

Arika White, Marco Signoretti, Joe Soranno, Dante Lerra and Dale Curran have all displayed a special #KeepFightingAyrton sticker on their karts.

Leading the team in the headline Rotax Senior division, White and Signoretti are seeking National titles to turn their seasons around. Signoretti has been very quick through most of his rookie Senior season.

Dante Lerra enters the fastest class of the weekend, Rotax DD2. He too has had a roller coaster of a season, but is looking to continue to display the impressive speed he has all year on the fast straights in Tremblant.

Joe Soranno takes on the relatively small, yet very competitive Rotax Junior. In his rookie Rotax Junior year, Soranno has been on the up swing all season long and a great drive at the Nationals will really classify this season a success.

Finally, the youngest member of the team, Dale Curran, tackles the Micro-Max division. Buzzing around in the largest the class has been all year, Curran has his eyes set on the top-five in front of Canada’s best.

Darren White, Team Manager of Energy Kart Canada
“We’re super excited for this years Nationals. Our team is showing tonnes of potential and speed so we’re enticed to see how this weekend pans out. On Ayrton, our team is still shocked, so is the karting community, but we’re doing our best to help the family through this challenging time. Team member Joe Soranno and his parents Rocco and Sonia has organized a “GoFundMe” campaign and so far they have helped raise $7000 to help the family. Seeing what our community is capable of is extremely incredible and we’re happy to have our team members supporting the cause.”
