In the Rotax DD2 pre-final, Christophe Boisclair (SRA Karting/Birel) got a great jump to take the early lead. However with two laps to go, disaster struck as a Boisclair would suffer a flat tire, allowing Ben Cooper (SRA Karting/Birel) to take the lead and the eventual heat win ahead of Zacharie Robichon. Behind, Nicholas Latifi (Ferrolati Corse/CRG) and Enrico Menotti waged in a great battle with Latifi gaining the edge at the finish line, with Tyler McEwan (CRG) completing the top-five.
