In DD2 Qualifying it was Ben Cooper (SRA Karting/ Birel) taking the Pole, one-tenth over teammate Christophe Boisclair (SRA Karting/ Birel). Enrico Menotti (Intrepid North America/ Intrepid) showed good form in qualifying taking third overall in the session. Zacharie Richard-Robichon (SRA Karting/ CRG) and Nicholas Latifi (Ferrolati Corse/ CRG) rounded out the top five.
World Champion Pier-Luc Ouellette (PSL Karting/ CRG) will be one to watch in the Prefinal as he will be starting in the back due to engine troubles in Qualifying.
