	Choisi par le programme « Ferrari Scholarship Program / FWT» En novembre dernier, on apprenait que le Ferrari Scholarship Program, par Ferrari North America, aiderait à supporter un pilote lors du Florida Winter Tour 2010. Lorsque les organisateurs du programme ont vu autant de réponses, ils n'ont pas pu s'empêcher de non seulement en supporter un, mais bien deux. Les deux jeunes pilotes qui furent choisis sont deux jeunes qui compétitionnent dans la catégorie Rotax Junior. Il s'agit de Jésus Rios, pilote Floridien, et de Marc Antoine Cardin, pilote recru dans la catégorie, Sorelois. Le programme consistait à écrire un essai de 300 mots en anglais expliquant pourquoi devraient-ils recevoir le programme de support par Ferrari North America, ainsi que, comment le support allait les aider dans leur programme de course. Les gagnants se voient recevoir la passe d'accès aux enclos, un jeu de pneus ainsi qu'un litre d'huile, sans oublier les nouveaux dessins pour leur kart durant les fins de semaines de courses aux couleurs de Ferrari Scholarship Program, au Florida Winter Tour. En ce qui concerne Marc-Antoine Cardin, c'est un texte expliquant son ambition dans les courses régionales, son enthousiasme à être recru dans la catégorie Rotax Junior ainsi que l'aide qu'ils allaient lui apporter dans son programme, qui lui a valu le titre de gagnant. Un week-end difficile en Floride Après déjà une fin de semaine au Florida Winter Tour 2010, Marc-Antoine et son équipe reviennent au Québec en retirant du bon de cette première compétition en Floride. Le chef mécanicien du pilote nous explique que plusieurs problèmes mécaniques, sont à l'origine du pourquoi Marc-Antoine n'a pas terminés la fin de semaine sur une très bonne note. Ils en retirent quand même du bon et prennent le tout comme une première expérience. La piste étant très bosselée, cela a apporté beaucoup de technique pour le pilote. Marc-Antoine nous raconte ses impressions en disant : '' Ce que j'en retiens, c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de ‘’bumping‘’, et que si tu ne plonges pas pour une position dès que tu en vois l'opportunité, tu restes derrière pour le reste de la course. On va se reprendre à la prochaine manche, j'espère que ça va aller mieux. '' Il nous raconte aussi que le pilotage est semblable au même que celui au Québec, et qu’il y a des pilotes avec beaucoup de talent. La prochaine manche étant à la fin de Février, c'est avec un moment de repos que l'équipe pourra repenser leur approches ainsi que la façon de procéder à l'étranger. C'est une belle opportunité pour Marc-Antoine Cardin de pouvoir embarquer en piste avec les couleurs de Ferrari, et ainsi se faire voir. Espérons qu'il aura plus de chance à la prochaine manche. Another Honour for Marc-Antoine Cardin Chosen by the program "Ferrari Scholarship Program/FWT" Last November, we were learning that the Ferrari Scholarship Program, by Ferrari North America, would support a driver during the 2010 Florida Winter Tour. For what concers Marc-Antoine Cardin, this is a text explaining his ambition in the regional races, his enthusiasm to be rookie in the Junior Rotax category as well as the help they would give him in his racing program, which made him winner. Hard weekend in Florida After the first weekend to the 2010 Florida Winter Tour, Marc-Antoine and his team are coming back to the Quebec as taking the weekend as a first experience for them. The chief mecanix’s driver explains us that some mecanix problems are at the origin why Marc-Antoine did not finish on a really good note. They even retain beneficts and take it as a really good experience for the driver. Because the track was dented, the driver had to adjust his piloting, to be more technical. Marc-Antoine gave us his impressions as saying: ‘‘what I retain is that there is a lot of ‘’bumbing’’, and if you don’t take the chance to pass someone when you see the opportunity, you will stay behind this one for the rest of the race. We will try to do better next time, I hope it will be better. ’’ He also told us that the piloting is similar to the one in Quebec, and that there are a lot of talented drivers. The next round is in February, this is with a rest moment that the team will be able to think about their approach as well as the way to proceed abroad. This is a beautiful opportunity for Marc-Antoine Cardin to go on the track with the Ferrari’s colors, and to be seen. Let’s hope that he will have more chance at the next round.
